landed yesterday, John, Lasse and I.

We met Leslie, Chee Wai and Vivian. Great people!

John bought the cheapest guitar he could find. It came with an amp he couldn't get rid of and an instruction DVD, then some contact mikes and switches to modify it with:

Today everyone in the band bought themselves a Korg Monotron on sale. Most things are sorted, except from Johns Guitar. We visited the church.

Vivian and I visited Substation for the Arts and talked to Noor. We’ll try to make an exchange project in 2012.

Seamen's Churc project, Singapore

We're leaving tomorrow, John Hegre, Lasse Marhaug and I. John and Lasse are going to work for a week with Leslie Low and Yuen Chee Wai.

There's a gig in the Seamen's Church the 27th and another in LaSalle College of the Arts the day before, with Tim O'Dwyer.

In the meantime there's going to be some testing of stuff, recording and checking out of Singapore, plus some talking about the situation this project has put us and the church in.
